At Character Mailing, we have a professional team dedicated to Data Processing and Mailing Services for customer mailing campaigns. We make customised mailings for many customers using a wide variety of data processing software. All data is processed to GDPR standards.
We also look at getting the cheapest postage prices possible for your mailing. After your data has been processed and applied to a design of your choosing, we will output your mailing to our high quality Laser and/or Digital Printers. Your mailing will then be fulfilled and despatched.
Data Security
We take data security very seriously at Character Mailing. We make sure we are GDPR compliant in every step of data processing and distribution. This includes secure data transfer between ourselves and the client.
Data Health Services
We can process your data and check the health of the data before any mailing campaign is fulfilled. This includes:
- PAF This correctly updates the customer address & postcode if required. A DPS (Delivery Point Suffix) is also added to help with getting a better postage discount.
- Duplicated addresses Any duplicated addresses in the data are removed. This can be done at three levels. Individual level (One mailpiece per Person at an Address), Surname Level (One mailpiece per Surname at an address) and Household Level (One mailpiece per Address). This will lower your postage costs and will add customer satisfaction.
- Deceased customers Any customers who are on deceased lists will be removed from the mailing. This will also aid your data to be GDPR compliant.
- Goneaways Customers that have moved away will be removed from the mailing.
- Re-movers This service will update addresses for customers who have moved.

Printing Your Mailpiece
We have dedicated printers and employees to print your mailpiece(s) created. They are printed on either our high quality Digital Press or Laser Printers (Both Cut Sheet and on Reels) or through our network of litho print partners.
